Android - Introduction

            

What is Android?

Android is a operating system, middleware and key applications for mobile devices. The Android SDK provides the tools and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language.

Before we get started I just want to cover some of the things you should have experience with before attempting this course.

• Object Oriented Programming concepts

In the Android we  heavily used Inheritance, Polymorphism etc.

• Experience with JAVA
• Experience with Eclipse Development Environment
• Android capability knowledge
